In Raleigh, the most popular wedding months book up a year or more in advance, so secure the venue first and then the florist, photographer and caterer. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Petal & Oak did a beautiful job with floral design for my wedding. The table decor, bouquets, bud vases & ceremony flowers were so beautiful, better than I could have imagined. I was so happy with how everything came out. I can't wait to see the photos our photographer got of the table displays & bouquets but here are a few examples taken by guests. I am so glad I chose Petal & Oak as my floral designers.

Petal & Oak was fabulous to work with for our June wedding! They have a huge selection of furniture, arbors, candles, etc. to choose from and we were very happy with the entire process. During our initial consultation, Shelley even led us to their stock room where we could hand-select the tables and chairs we wanted for our reception space. Their kind and personable approach went a long way and we are forever grateful. We would highly recommend Petal & Oak! Thank you again!

Petal and oak absolutely exceeded our expectations. I was a little nervous because I didn’t see any flowers on their social media that matched my vision, but they knocked it out of the park using my Pinterest board! They hung greenery from the ceiling, put up hedge walls and shelving, and provided the most beautiful arch and centerpieces. The arch in particular was an absolute steal. Thank you Petal and oak for your fantastic work!

Petal & Oak were truly an amazing fit for my special day! I came into our first meeting only knowing what I wanted through photos on Pinterest. I am not a flower person so I couldn't tell you what flowers I exactly wanted I could just show pictures and explain my vision. When the flowers showed up on wedding day myself, my bridesmaids and mothers were OBSESSED. I was so excited and several girls commented 'It looks like it's right off of Pinterest!". Thank you Petal & Oak for making my vision come to life! I can't wait to hold your flowers again in a couple months at my best friends wedding.
